For my child to know what it is to be heard I need to listen when they talk to me.

For my child to know what it is to be valued I am to value what my child shares with me.

For my child to know their feelings I am to allow my child to have them.

For my child to make healthy decisions I am to give them their choices.

For my child to be open with me I am to let them ask any question they so desire free from shame or punishment.

For my child to know they are brilliant I am to respond in a way that says YES YOU ARE!

For my child to know their ideas are fantastic I help in anyway I can to see those ideas through.

For my child to know respect I am to respect them, speak to them in a way I like to be spoken to, treat them the same way I am to be treated.

I first seek to connect with my child in ALL interactions so they KNOW through lived experience what it is to be SEEN, LOVED and INTUNE with WHO THEY ARE!
